The Indian Armed Forces will be able to purchase Honda’s Elevate SUV from Canteen Store Departments (CSD) located all around the country, according to an announcement made by Honda. The Honda City and the Honda Amaze are already being offered through the Canteen Store Departments, and now the Elevate is the third model that Honda provides for sale through these departments.

The foundation of the Honda Elevate is identical to that of the fifth generation City. Therefore, it is driven by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that is naturally aspirated and provides a maximum power output of 119 horsepower at 6,600 revolutions per minute (rpm) and a maximum torque production of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The transmission can be either a seven-step continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a six-speed manual gearbox.

When compared to the automatic transmission, the manual gearbox has a fuel economy number of 15.31 kilometers per gallon, while the automatic gearbox generates 16.92 kilometers per gallon. The Elevate will not be available for purchase with a diesel engine from the manufacturer. Instead, somewhere during the next two years, they will introduce an Elevate that is powered entirely by electric motors.
Among the mid-size SUVs available on the Indian market, the Elevate is now one of the most reasonably priced options. A price range of ₹11.58 lakh to ₹16.20 lakh is available for this item. Each of these pricing are ex-showroom. This product is available in four different variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. With the exception of the SV variant, the automatic transmission is offered in all of the variation options.

A number of amenities are included as standard equipment on the Elevate. These include LED projector headlamps with Daytime Running Lamps, a steering wheel with multiple functions, a push button to start and stop the engine, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors, automatic climate control, rear air conditioning vents, a PM2.5 air filter, and a front armrest.

Honda Sensing Technology, which is effectively a collection of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) capabilities, is also included in the top-of-the-line model. Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lead Car Departure System, Road Departure Mitigation, and auto-dimming IRVM are some of the safety features that Honda provides for its vehicles.
